Halfway between Cedar Rapids and Dubuque, lies the small town of Monticello. Monticello is the county seat of Jones county. Near downtown, Java Jones provides great coffee, a pleasant atmosphere and pretty good coffee.
I got a medium roast and was happy with it. It should be noted that it closes at 2 pm, so it’s definitely more of a morning place.
There are interesting decorations of old coffee cans, bags, etc. It really is a great asset for the town of Monticello.
And clean bathrooms!
